You'd think, with an extra 1400 troops just committed to Afganistan, that the British Army would be nice to their Recruits, and make things as easy as possible to join.
I've just spent 12 hours travelling there and back to my Army base, all for a five minute consultation with a Doctor, in which she basically checked that nothing had changed since my last medical, peered down my trousers, then sent me on my merry way.
I spent £60 on a train ticket, too, and didn't manage to get paid back since the F#&%ing expenses office was closed. *Pouts*I am currently...:  sleepy |
